CONVERSE & CARHARTT WIP ENLIST A$AP NAST AS MODEL FOR THEIR NEW COLLAB
Converse has linked with Carhartt WIP on a trio of Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 Ox sneakers, whose uppers are inspired by Carhartt WIP’s stylish take on workwear.
The unisex capsule collection offers tiger stripe camo print, workwear tan or gold eyelet accents to compliment the shoes, offered in a different material story, drill, canvas and rip stop and detailed with triple-stitching and red accents Carhartt is known for.
To add some extra vibe to the story, Converse and Carhartt WIP chosen innovators in music and fashion to be the faces of the collection, including DJ Emerald Rose, producer Sega Bodega and ASAP Nast.
One of our main guest from last year Akeem of Zamunda events, Nast is member of Harlem’s A$AP Mob and alongside his cousin, A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, he has helped transforming the US rap landscape, flourishing in creative spaces that had never existed for rappers before, landing to style and fashion in a new more interesting way.
Starting June 1, 2017, all three styles will be sold at Converse and Carhartt WIP retail stores plus converse.com and carhartt-wip.com, along with select retailers.
